Fishing is awesome here in Port Alice. Catch and release is my game. I love the tremendous fight that the spring salmon provide. Ocean fishing is also incredible—the halibut are huge. Setting traps for crab and prawns can also net a great dinner any day of the week.

The sightseeing in Port Alice is also unbeatable. As you troll down the inlet, you can see eagles, seals, orcas, and grey whales.

The community is set in the majestic mountains on the West Coast. Logging roads lead into the mountains for more exploration and camping. There is abundant wildlife—bears, deer and cougars will tease the best photographs out of you. Come visit Port Alice! See you soon!
