Even when one lives in the best place in the entire world it can take a lifetime to experience everthing your community has to offer. All "Enderbushians" know about the Enderby Cliffs -- some even know about Reese Lake located just minutes away from the most amazing views of the Shuswap River Valley --and yet many residents have never made the climb. I did once and that's all I most likely will. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice hike, but I prefer what some friends and I did the other day. We packed a picnic lunch onto our quads and left from my family's Mara Mountain property. We cruised some light terrain in the Hunters Range recreation area and then crossed over to a rarely used and less-known trail that took us directly to the Reese lake and Cliff area. We climbed rocks that were nearly vertical and crawled down ravines thick with mud. Once we reached the lake we had a snack and took numerous pictures -- so many in fact that the battery went dead on the camera, so we have no pictures of the best day ever! We have to go again!
